What is Holistic Nutrition?

Holistic nutrition is a whole person approach to food, in which we utilise whole foods, and see food as medicine.

In contrast to regular nutritional advice or services, the focus is on the individual and what they want to achieve. We look to address the root cause of any issue that is limiting you from living your best life.

The focus is on offering choices and creating a strategy that works for you, offering real life practical solutions to food and nutrition.

The aim is for you to live your life, and enjoy it. There’s no need to make it all too complicated – when you know the choice that is best for you, it is really quite simple.

 

What can I hope to achieve in a holisic nutrition coaching session?

You will come away with a plan and strategy that suits your needs. It’s important that we are on the same page with the plan, as it will only work when we can come up with something that you are going to love, use, and benefit from.

This is about you and your results, not rigid plans and recommendations. I want this plan to suit your budget, tastes, lifestyle, and the results you want to achieve.

The ultimate goals is to improve  the health of your body day in and day out. We’re about helping you build a strong foundation to live a long and healthy life – in a body that works and allows you to live life to the fullest.

How is this service different?

Holistic nutrition is about listening to you, and asking the right questions to understand what makes you tick. In this way, you come away with a plan that is very unique to you.

Many fad diets fail over and over, because they aren’t tailored to you, and they really overcomplicate it. We focus simply on lifestyle changes and results. No gimics, or confusing terminology, you are getting healthier with each meal you make. This is the ultimate goal that we should all be aiming for, the rest will fall into place naturally.

How many sessions might I need?

The number of sessions you need depends on you. Often, two or three sessions or more over a 12 month period will help you really integrate changes needed to achieve your desired results.

Sessions focus on results and education, so that you can learn how and what to eat and get on with living your life.

How can homeopathy complement nutrition consults?

Homeopathy is very complementary to nutrition especially when using a holistic approach. Homeopathic remedies can help with cravings and habits around food. Remedies can also be wonderful in helping people overcome habits that have sabotaged a lifetime of yoyo dieting and food related issues.

The experience of case taking in homeopathy also provides a unique perspective into the client’s personality-  bringing increased awareness to things that are keeping them from success.

Meet Tracey, your Holistic Nutriton Coach.

Tracey is a qualified homeopath, and has an advanced certification in Nutrition and Health Coaching, as well as certification in Meal and Menu Planning.

She has had a lifelong love of food and its power to nourish, and has always been fascinated by how food, lifestyle, and mindset shape the way we look and feel.

As Tracey’s own family journeyed from illness to recovery, she discovered firsthand the incredible role nutrition plays in healing, and how confusing and overwhelming the world of diets and food advice can feel.

She believes that food should taste amazing, fit your life, and have a purpose.

When she’s not working with clients, you’ll find Tracey in the kitchen creating new recipes, tending to her garden, or sharing good food and laughter with family and friends.
